I'm glad to see the positive comments about memorializing the fellow students/friends we lost who served. To those wondering if the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial at the Milwaukee lakefront has various size bricks, they do. When the memorial was dedicated, my family surprised me with a brick with my name. That Memorial Day, an article I wrote about the experience and the memorial itself ran on the front page of the Milwaukee Journal. I've always wondered who the other Vietnam vets were from our class, how many came home, and what became of them.

I still remember sitting at the desk next to Diane (I don't recall the class), a cute and somewhat shy girl as I recall. So long ago, but thankfully the memories last.

Sad to see the post about Dean. I remember him from WHS days, but I didn't know about his early passing. It makes me wish there was a listing of classmates that served in the war, and what happened to them.
